Simple hand or power tools are all that you need and the right fastener for your substrate. Country Ledgestone panels are very lightweight. Each panel weighs no more than five pounds each, which makes it very easy to handle. NextStone imitation stone panels are a great weekend project for any homeowner. Once your project surface is ready, screws are the only fastener you’ll need to set the panels into place. If your project is the exterior of your home, there are ledgers or sills to help transition from NextStone to other building materials. How to Calculate flats and corners: 1. Measure the height of all 90-degree outside corners in inches and divide by 12. This is the total number of linear feet needed for the job. 2. Divide the total linear feet needed by the linear foot per box for the product you plan to purchase and round up to the next full box to order. Example: 192” ÷ 12 = 16 linear feet (each box covers 5.17 linear feet) 16 ÷ 5.17 = 3.09 Order 3 boxes of corners 3. Some of the flat areas will be covered by the corner pieces so that you can subtract the square footage needed for the flats. The approximate square foot coverage per box is 5 square feet. You can now subtract 5 square feet by the number of boxes purchased and subtract this total from the overall square feet required for your project. Always round up to the next box. Now using the example above to calculate total square foot, adjust the number of boxes needed for flats. 45.82 square feet subtract 15 (this number is the total linear feet in 3 boxes of corners) = 30.82 ÷ 16 = 1.92 Order 2 boxes of flats Actual colours may vary.
